Carefully selected round-grain rice with exquisite porcini mushrooms, onions, carrots and zucchini – finely mixed – ensure 100% risotto heaven with 100% natural ingredients. Preparation

1.Sauté Risotto mix with 2-3 tbsp GEFRO Extra Virgin Olive Oil, until rice is slightly translucent. 2Add white wine to taste and boil down. 3.Add 500 ml GEFRO Vegetable Bouillon bit by bit and cook for 20 – 25 minutes, stirring continuously. The rice should be creamy, but also al dente. 4.Add some GEFRO Omega-3 Porcini Mushroom Oil, some Parmesan and a pinch of GEFRO Spice Blend Pepper Mix, to taste. Enjoy!

Good risotto belongs to the diverse Mediterranean kitchen, as much as pizza or pasta. The popular rice dish originates in northern Italy, even today approx. 90 % of the European production of risotto takes place in the Po Valley. The well-loved risotto is often served in Italy as the “primo piatto“, or first course of a meal, or as an accompaniment. The secret of its success lies in the special type of rice used: round-grain rice. This type of rice absorbs liquids well and takes on the flavours and aromas of other ingredients. The type of rice used for GEFRO’s Mushroom Risotto is ideal for a perfect risotto and the porcinis add a wonderful flavour, making this rice dish something special.

Quick and easy to prepare

Preparing perfect risotto can often be very time-consuming and making is not always easy. GEFRO’s Mushroom Risotto allows you to quickly conjure up gourmet risotto with perfect consistency. The rice is deliciously creamy, while also being al dente and perfectly absorbs the flavours of the other ingredients used. For perfect results: sauté the Risotto Mix in GEFRO Extra Virgin Olive Oil until the rice is soft. Add white wine to taste and cook. Slowly add 500 ml GEFRO Vegetable Bouillon and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring continuously. The rice should be creamy but still al dente. Add a drizzle of GEFRO Porcini mushroom Oil, if desired, some Parmesan and a pinch of GEFRO Spice Blend „Pepper Mix“ – voilá! Feel like more?
