2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Right

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.


The cancellation period shall be fourteen days from the date on which you or a third party designated by you, which is not the transport company, accepts the delivery of goods.


To exercise your right of cancellation, you must contact us (GEFRO GmbH & Co. KG, Rudolf-Diesel-Str 21, D-87700 Memmingen/Allgäu, Phone: +49 8331/95 95-555, email: info@gefro.com) and inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by providing an explicit declaration of intention (for example, a letter sent by postal mail, fax or email). You may use the cancellation form attached, however, this is not obligatory.


The submission of the cancellation notification before the end of the cancellation period shall be deemed sufficient to observe the cancellation deadline.


Consequences of Cancellation


In the event that you cancel this contract, we shall refund all the payments that we have received from you, including delivery charges (except for additional costs incurred as a result of choosing a delivery mode other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the date on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we shall use the same method of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise; in no case shall you be charged fees for this repayment. We reserve the right to refuse the refund of payments until we have received the goods or until you have furnished proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.


You are obliged to send back or hand over the goods to us without delay, in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us about the cancellation of this contract. The deadline shall be considered met if the goods are sent before the cancellation period of fourteen days has expired. The direct costs of returning the goods shall be borne by you.


You shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods if the diminished value is as a result of handling beyond what is deemed necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

4. Delivery Details

Delivery shall be carried out by DHL or a local partner.

Within Germany, we deliver for free if the value of the goods exceeds €15. If the value of goods is less than €19,90, a shipping free of €3.95 shall apply regardless of the number of products ordered or the weight.
Delivery within Germany takes between two and three workdays. In the case of different delivery times, this will be communicated on the respective product page. If you select the payment method ‘Advance Payment’, you will receive our bank account details in the order confirmation and the goods shall be first delivered after payment is received.

Within the EU*, we charge a flat-rate shipping fee of €9.90, regardless of weight and amount. Deliveries with a value of €49.90 or more will be delivered for free, within the EU.
*A shipping fee of €6.90 applies to Italy, Spain (except Canary islands), Holland and France.

Delivery time depends on the recipient country and takes between five and eight workdays. In the case of different delivery times, this will be communicated on the respective product page. If you select the payment method 'Advance Payment’, you will receive our bank account details in the order confirmation and the goods shall be first delivered after payment is received.

6. Payment Methods

We offer the following payment methods:

7. Date/Time of Payment

If you select the credit card or Sofortüberweisung*, your account will be debited upon completion of the order.
*(Sofort Überweisung is a German company that enables direct payment in real time via online banking)


8. Additional Payment Fees or Surcharges

No additional fees shall be charged by us for the above-mentioned payment methods. For PayPal and credit card payments, no fees shall be charged by the payment provider for payments made within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA). Outside the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), the payment provider may charge you different fees (Please contact PayPal or your credit card company).

 

9. Conclusion of Contract and Falsely Entered Information

The display of products in our online shop does not represent a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalogue. Once you’ve found a product you’d like to have, you can add this to your shopping basket by clicking the ‘Add to basket’ button, without any commitment to buy. The contents of the shopping basket can be viewed at any time by clicking ‘View basket’. You can remove the products from your basket at any time by clicking the ‘X’ button.
Should you wish to buy the items in your shopping basket, click the ‘Checkout’ or ‘Continue’ button. Enter your information. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*). Registration is not mandatory. Your personal information shall be transmitted in encoded form.
After providing your data and selecting the payment method, simply click the ‘Continue’ button to be brought to the order page. Here you can check the information you provided once again. To complete the ordering process, click the button ‘Buy now’. The process can be cancelled at any time by closing the browser window. Further information can be found on the individual pages. Should you wish to correct your entries, click the ‘Back’ button and complete the previous steps again.
Clicking the ‘Buy now’ button constitutes a legally binding purchase of the items shown in your shopping basket. The confirmation of receipt of your order and the acceptance of the order occur simultaneously and immediately after clicking "Buy now" by means of an automated email that is sent out. The purchase contract becomes legally effective upon this email confirmation.
 

10. Contractual Text

The contractual text is saved on our in-house systems. Once the order has been placed, the order details will be emailed to you directly. Past orders can be viewed in your customer account in the category ‘My GEFRO / My Parcels’.

Legal warranty rights apply to all products in our online shop.
